Welcome to the website for Coal Creek Veterinary Hospital, a veterinary hospital in Aurora that has been dedicated to serving the pet loving citizens of Aurora since 1998. A finalist in the 2011 American Animal Hospital Association Hospital of the Year competition, our hospital is built on the belief that our pets are members of our families.
We believe that by working with the pet owner in a pro-active manner, we will be able to maintain and extend the quality of your pet’s life. In order to achieve these goals, we emphasize client education and preventive medicine appropriate to each stage of your pet’s life. Our office hours are designed to serve the needs of the Aurora community by being the only veterinary clinic in Aurora open until 8pm three nights each week.
Each of our animal health care team members has a commitment to high quality patient and client care and has a commitment to serving the Aurora community. We work closely with the Denver Area Veterinary Medical Society (DAVMS) to provide complimentary examinations on pets adopted from the DAVMS sponsored shelters within 14 days of adoption. In addition to supporting shelter pets, we also support those pets displaced due to domestic violence through our Coal Creek Veterinary Hospital Pet Care Fund. This fund pays for housing for the pet(s) while the human victim is escaping their violent situation. This fund is the only one of its kind in the Denver area and is designed to help those pets and people in need in Aurora and surrounding communities.
We are conveniently located in southeast Aurora at the NE corner of Smoky Hill and Tower roads in the Centennial Shopping Center nestled behind the Post Office, Sonic and Wells Fargo Bank. We would love to meet you and your furry family members. We offer FREE hospital tours and meet & greet visits with our doctors (both by appointment please) to start our relationship off right.
